Access Real Estate Valuation, LLC

If you have a choice about which appraisal company to use I highly recommend choosing someone other than Access Real Estate Valuation. Their communication is terrible, they are not responsive to feedback, and their choice of comps is horrible (despite boasting years of experience). I called requesting information about how adjustments were made on a comp in a town with a much worse school district and much lower property value and was told it is subjective (apparently it is the years of experience the appraiser has that is relied on). We requested use of a comp we thought fair and were told it was declined without reasonable explanation. The appraisal of your home is an extremely important part of any financing process and Access Real Estate Valuation, in my opinion, is more concerned with being "right" when challenged than working with homeowners to help them understand the process and/or use homes that are truly comparable.
